New Pony rules are posted including important rules about bats....

New Pony Rules for the spring of 2012 have been posted on their website. The changes to the current rules are included in this attachment.

Pony has offered this additional clarification regarding the new rules for bats:

• 2 3/4" bats are not allowed for use in any Pony sanctioned league.
• Newly manufactured 2 1/4" bats are required to be stamped with "BPF 1.15".
• Drop or minus (-) 3 bats are required to be BBCOR certified.
• All other 2 5/8" bats are acceptable

Note that Westhills Baseball continues to limit bat diameter to 2 1/4" in Pinto and Mustang.
